In the historic centre of Pals, there is the Romanesque, circular tower known as the Torre de les Hores. Peratallada has a very well-preserved old fortified centre. The pottery in La Bisbal d’Empordà, the amazing square in Monells or the Gala-Dalí Castle Museum in Púbol are other places well worth a visit. All these proposals are just a few kilometres away, meaning that you can travel round the inland part of the Baix Empordà region and discover remains of a splendid mediaeval past.
